Hannah Russell contributes a unique variety of skills to the entertainment industry. She has international experience and expertise in the dance industry, show business and live entertainment. Her work includes professional dance, acting, corporate emcee and host, tour Manager (Bluey Live), Master class teacher and choreographer. Originally from Australia, she has lived in the USA for seven years, residing between Los Angeles and New York City.
She has performed in leading roles and emcee positions for Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, Warner Brothers and ABC kids. For three seasons she was as a ‘Pantherette’ (sports dancer & cheerleader) for Australia’s National Rugby League. The Table Silence project (Buglisi Dance Theater NYC), Rev Collective Dancer (Dance Revolution Tour). Hannah was a core company dancer for four years with ALMA NYC Dance company where she performed in full length contemporary and Jazz works including YELLOW, Fecund, Rhapsody, Places and ‘Thankyou 10’. In 2022 she was director, writer and choreographer for Brian Mackey’s ‘Don’t Be Sad’ music video featuring actor’s Roger Hendricks (Wall Street, Love in Kilnerry) and Lane Bradbury (Broadway’s Original ‘Dainty June’ Gypsy). Her career has given her the opportunity to work in world class venues including The Sydney Opera House, Lincoln Center, Alvin Ailey Theater, The Kennedy Center, Dolby Theater and many more in the USA, Australia and Canada.
In addition to performing Hannah brings a bright energy and intelligence to teaching the next generation of dancers. She is current faculty judge, emcee and convention teacher with EnerGy National Dance Competitions. She has toured Australia and judged national finals with The Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation (AASCF), Australia’s largest cheer and dance competition. Other competitions include Cheer Con (Australia) , True Talent (USA). She has been on faculty with Broadway Dance Center (CTP Programs), ICON Dance Complex, The ‘Arts Unit’ NSW Department of Education (Australia), Excite Dance and Cheer Sydney, and the private and public school system in Australia.
Hannah is a graduate of The Australian institute of Music - Bachelor of Music (Arts and Music Management), Broadway Dance Center ISVP, Ev and Bow classical/contemporary (full-time graduate).
