TEACHING

Hannah enjoys sharing her knowledge and love of dance with children, teens and adults. Hannah has experience teaching in Australia and the United States at dance studio’s, high schools, professional training programs and as a volunteer teacher for non-profits. She has had many winning troupe and solo routine’s at Eisteddfod’s/Competition’s. Her choreography is versatile and catered towards the level of dance she is teaching. Hannah has experience teaching from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus and is a full RAD member. She has prepared students for their ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dance) ballet examinations and is committed to her professional development regularly attending workshops and teaching courses.

Professional Development 

  • Hannah  is qualified to teach all three levels of Marie Walton Mahon’s ‘Progressing Ballet Technique’: a program using the fit ball and other props to challenge a dancers proprioception and assist finding and training the deep muscles required for ballet technique.

  • The completion of Lisa Howell’s three-day dance teacher and health professional course based on bridging the gap between teachers and physical therapists, gaining an understanding of the minor issues in technique that cause injury and how to prevent them.

  • Hannah has also worked individually with Lisa Howell further learning how to retrain correct technique with specific exercises.

  • Paul Malek’s ‘contemporary progressions workshop’, 

  • Ginger Cox’s Dancer Anatomy Workshops
